This article explains the concept of the digital economy and outlines the prospects for its development in the region. As we know, today the digital economy is widely applied across all sectors of the economy. Initially, its use was introduced in financial matters, such as in banks with plastic cards or money transfers. In the current environment, digital solutions are utilized in e-commerce, electronic trade, goods turnover, import and export operations, various service industries, and production processes. The widespread implementation of the digital economy in our country is recognized as a key driver for development and progress.
