Аннотация

The study evaluated how ICT affected Nigeria's accounting information generation. All accountants with ICT proficiency and effectiveness working for auditing and civil service organizations in Kogi State made up the study's population. The study used a survey research design, and the respondents were chosen using a stratified random sampling technique. The study employed a data collection tool called the "Quality Assurance and Quality Accounting Teachers Questionnaire" (QAQATQ), which was given to the participants. Before the reliability test was performed, the researcher's supervisor, who is an authority in the subject, reviewed the instrument. The reliability coefficient of 0.75 indicated that the instrument was dependable for the research. Chi-square analysis was used to examine the data that was collected. According to the data analysis results, ICT has a major impact on the quick production of accounting information. ICT significantly affects how quickly accounting information can be accessed. In order to increase speed, accuracy, timeliness, and reduce costs associated with their professional tasks, it was suggested that Nigerian accountants embrace the use of ICT in their accounting practices.
