Abstract
Kurash, a traditional Uzbek form of wrestling, has gained international recognition in recent decades. As it evolves into a competitive sport on the global stage, the need for scientifically grounded and effective training methodologies becomes more pressing. This study explores how individualized approaches in kurash training can improve athletes’ technical proficiency, physical conditioning, and competitive performance. Using diagnostic assessments and performance tracking over a 12-week period, we examined 24 youth athletes (ages 14–16) at a regional sports school. The results show that personalized training programs significantly enhance athletes' development compared to conventional group-based methods.
