Abstract

Smart water supply systems play a crucial role in addressing global water scarcity, especially in urban environments where efficient water usage is essential. This paper presents the development and performance evaluation of a robotic device integrated with a smart monitoring system aimed at optimizing water distribution and detecting leakages in real-time. The proposed system utilizes IoT-based sensors, data acquisition modules, and machine learning algorithms to analyze water flow, pressure, and consumption patterns. The robotic unit, equipped with mobility and sensor integration, performs autonomous pipeline inspection and maintenance. Results from simulation and field testing demonstrate significant improvement in detection speed, system efficiency, and water conservation. The device’s modular design ensures scalability and adaptability in various environments. This study contributes to sustainable resource management by integrating robotics with smart monitoring technologies.
