Abstract

Linguacultural studies is a branch of linguistics that studies the relationship between language and cultural concepts. Cultural linguistics accelerates theoretical and analytical progress in both cognitive science (including the study of complex systems and processes of distribution of cognitive ability) and anthropology. Within the framework of cultural linguistics, language is considered as something rooted at the group, cultural level of cognition. The article presents a linguacultural analysis of Russian and Uzbek phraseological units; the parameters of description of axiological phraseological units are highlighted; the components of axiological phraseological units with value and anti-value meaning of the Russian and Uzbek languages are revealed.
