Abstract
In this article I am planning to give information about parts of speech in English, as well as other languages. As we all know, the English language consists of eight parts of speech: nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Each part plays a special role in sentence construction. They are also important in expressing ideas clearly. Understanding these parts of speech is essential for learners as it assists in forming grammatically correct sentences and enhances their communication skills. This knowledge also provides with improved reading and writing abilities, leading to better academic performance.
