Abstract

Parasitic worms usually develop by changing their hosts. For helminths living in the skin-muscle layer or internal organs of animals, this living organism serves as a parasitic host. A person can be a host for more than 150 species of helminths. Half of them are flatworms, belonging to the group of tapeworms and flukes. The extract from cestodes had a toxic effect on internal organs and glands, causing vascular spasms and sometimes death.
