Abstract
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) has become a vital component of academic preparation, equipping non-native English speakers with the necessary language skills to succeed in higher education environments. As English continues to serve as the global lingua franca, EAP programs have expanded beyond traditional focus areas like writing and reading to include listening, speaking and critical thinking. Insights from prominent researchers, such as Dr.J.Swales and Professor L.Clandfield, emphasize the growing need for comprehensive language skills that integrate academic content with language proficiency. With the increasing integration of digital tools, technology is reshaping how EAP is taught, providing students with innovative methods of learning and engagement. Despite the challenges posed by diverse student backgrounds and varying levels of proficiency, the future of EAP remains bright as it adapts to the global landscape of academic mobility and digital education. In this article is discussed the significance of EAP in modern education, its evolving methodologies and its role in preparing students for academic success in a globalized, technologically advanced world.
