Abstract
Economic development, improving living standards for the population, and fostering social well-being require the growth of service sector operations in rural areas. The article discusses the theoretical foundations of service sector development in rural regions, the current circumstances, and prospects for the future. The article glances at the role of service sector entities, the factors influencing their growth, and the economic implications of these developments.
